The EasySep Rat CD8 T Cell Isolation Kit is designed to isolate CD8 T cells from single-cell suspensions of splenocytes or lymph nodes or from whole blood by negative selection. The EasySep procedure involves labeling unwanted cells with antibody complexes and magnetic particles. The magnetically labeled cells are separated from the untouched desired cells by using an EasySep magnet and simply pouring or pipetting the desired cells into a new tube.

The EasySep™ HLA Chimerism Whole Blood CD8 Positive Selection Kit is designed to isolate CD8+ cells from fresh whole blood or buffy coat by positive selection. Desired cells are targeted with Tetrameric Antibody Complexes recognizing CD8 and dextran-coated magnetic particles. The cocktail also contains an antibody to human Fc receptor to minimize nonspecific binding. Labeled cells are separated using an EasySep™ magnet without the use of columns. Cells of interest remain in the tube while unwanted cells are poured off. The CD8 antigen is expressed on cytotoxic T cells and weakly on a subset of NK cells.This product replaces the EasySep™ Human Whole Blood CD8 Positive Selection Kit (Catalog #18083) for even faster cell isolations.

HetaSep™ is an erythrocyte aggregation agent used to quickly separate nucleated cells from red blood cells (RBCs) in whole blood. Aggregated erythrocytes settle much faster than dispersed cells. By controlling the settling time and/or centrifugation speed, the majority of nucleated cells are recovered in the supernatant. Approximately 95 - 99% RBC depletion is attained if the nucleated cell-rich fraction is removed carefully. HetaSep™ contains 6% w/v hetastarch.

Recognizes 183 kDa protein with DNA-binding characteristics, which is identified as a myeloid specific antigen. It reacts with myeloid precursor cells and granulocytes in bone marrow. Its antigen appears to be restricted to M2 and M3 acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) subtypes. Markers of myeloid cells are useful in the identification of different levels of cellular differentiation. This MAb reacts with early precursor and mature forms of human myeloid cells. It is useful in the identification of myelogenous leukemias, distinguishing granulocytic sarcomas from lymphoid malignancies and also in the study of differentiation and transformation of human myeloid cells. The biological function of this antigen is not clear, although it has been proposed that it may play a role in the differentiation of myeloid cells.Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. The EasySep™ Release Human CD4 Positive Selection Kit is designed to isolate CD4+ cells from fresh or previously frozen peripheral blood mononuclear cells or washed leukapheresis samples by immunomagnetic positive selection.Desired cells are labeled with antibodies and magnetic particles, and separated without columns using an EasySep™ magnet. Unwanted cells are simply poured off, while desired cells remain in the tube. Then, bound magnetic particles are removed from the EasySep™-isolated CD4+ cells, which are immediately available for downstream applications. Following cell isolation with this EasySep™ Release kit, antibody complexes remain bound to the cell surface and may interact with Brilliant Violet™ antibody conjugates, polyethylene glycol-modified proteins or other chemically related ligands. The CD4 antigen is strongly expressed on helper T cells and is expressed more weakly on peripheral blood monocytes and tissue macrophages.
